The first two rows can be compared together: the larger pack costs less per 100 g. The volume and item rows are separate examples, not comparable alternatives.
Units and pack counts
Weight units are g, kg, oz and lb; volume units are ml, l and US fl oz; count uses item. Ounces measure mass here, while fluid ounces measure volume. The first valid option sets the group; options in another kind of unit are left out with a note. A blank pack count means one; a nonpositive or nonfinite pack count is rejected.
Read the total carefully
The requested-quantity result is a proportional cost, not the number of whole packages you must buy. Currency is a display label: it does not convert exchange rates or fetch current store prices. Check that every intended option appears in the results; incomplete or unsupported rows can be omitted.
Frequently asked questions
Can I compare grams with kilograms?
Yes. Both are weight units and are converted to the same base before ranking.
Can I compare ounces with fluid ounces?
No. Weight and volume are different groups unless you supply a separate, appropriate conversion yourself.
Does it round my purchase up to whole packs?
No. The needed-amount figure is proportional cost, not a whole-pack shopping total.
